On the occasion of Triple Canopy’s 2018 benefit honoring the writer Maggie Nelson, the magazine invited a select group of artists whose work shares a creative affinity with Nelson’s own, which reflects and addresses all the complexities and pleasures of life, and often fuses criticism, memoir, scholarship, and poetry. Provided with a excerpts from past and upcoming writings by Nelson, each artist responded with generosity and distinction. Keltie Ferris created a work for her ongoing series of “body prints,” in which the artist deploys her body as a brush.
